AIR INTER was the first airline to operate a330 on 17th January 1994

Turkish Airline has the largest fleet of Airbus 330 with current usage of 68 jets.

Bubble at nose landing gear is found only on 330 freighter variant .

DO YOU KNOW WHY ?

Here you go ie.... This bulge can be seen only at pure freighter variant of 330 whereas on normal 330 or the passenger converted 330 cannot find this .

The Airbus 330 family had nose down pitch issue something it shares with 340 even. They were not able to achieve a level cabin floor something it was essential for cargo .So to overcome the issue Airbus was forced to re-design the landing gear for freighter variant . In the end airbus settled on lowering the leg attachment points to raise the nose slightly and this modification was required some additional housing / space hence the bulge was designed.
